As a family business, we blend deep personal values with cutting-edge innovation, creating technology and software that elevate the journey of fresh produce, especially fruits and berries, from local farms to consumers. Rooted in our community and inspired by the families who grow and enjoy this food, we’re committed to supporting sustainable farming, empowering local producers, and bringing fresher, better ingredients to households everywhere.

We founded Ecosort AS in the summer of 2025 because we saw a clear and pressing need: small-scale growers and farmers needed better tools to operate sustainably in a rapidly changing food industry. With one of us bringing a background in industrial engineering, operations research, and AI, and the other bringing years of hands-on business experience in food retail, services, and managing a cooperative berry warehouse, we realised our combined strengths could make a real impact.

Since then, we’ve been developing practical agriTech solutions together with stakeholders across the supply chain, while also offering bespoke technology development and consultation in Data, AI, Tech, and production processes. In November 2025, our work was recognised when we won the Best Pitch award at the local business conference in Flåm, an encouraging sign that our mission addresses real and urgent sustainability challenges.
